The third Children and Young Peoples Active Involvement Awards Ceremony is being organised on behalf of the Children & Young People’s Strategic Partnership Board by the Children and Young People’s Active Involvement Service.
It will take place during the evening of Wednesday 6th February 2008 at The Place, Oakengates.
We are hoping to build on the success of the two previous events and ensure that the achievements of children and young people are fully recognised and celebrated.
Your nominations are key to the success of the Ceremony. Please look at the nomination form and consider who would be deserving of an award.
We are looking for nominations under a range of categories:
1. Involvement in Local Democracy.
2. Involvement in Regional and National Democracy.
3. Developing and Improving Services and Projects.
4. Raising Awareness.
5. Improving School Life.
6. Raising the National Profile of Telford.
7. Involvement in the Recruitment and Selection of Staff.
8. Involvement in Training, Conferences and Events.
9. Improving Local Facilities and the Environment.
10. Supporting Local People.
11. Long Service Awards.
12. Other.
Please note that the event organisers need nominators to alert them as they cannot ensure that every deserving child, young person or group is recognised:
If you know of a potential winner it is your responsibility to let us know by returning the completed form on time. Please feel free to nominate as many children and young people as you wish.
